About the Share

Our season starts in early June and runs through late October for 21 consecutive weeks. We harvest rain or shine every Thursday and deliver between 2:30 and 5:30 pm depending on your drop spot location. Your produce and the weekly newsletter are packed into waxed, 1/2 bushel boxes which you return to your drop spot each week to be reused. We also offer u-pick flowers, tomatoes, beans and other crops which we have a surplus of.

We average 10-12 pounds of produce each week over the course of the season (less in spring, more in summer and fall) and may have as few as 5 or 6 items the first week or two to as many as 17 items at the end of the season. It is a good amount of produce. Our shares are enough for a family of 4 who eat a mixed diet. If you find yourself becoming overwhelmed, refer to the seasonal eating section of our web page.

We do not offer half shares. Splitting shares is encouraged. If you need contact our message board and try to find someone to split one with. A share for 2012 is $475. The extended share option is $610 (main season share plus 100+ lbs. of veggetables for short to medium term storage). You can sign up from page 2 of the brochure.
