About the Share

Our season starts in early June and runs through late October for 21 consecutive weeks. We harvest rain or shine every Thursday and deliver between 2:30 and 5:30 pm depending on your drop spot location. Your produce and the weekly newsletter are packed into waxed, 1/2 bushel boxes which you return to your drop spot each week to be reused. We also offer u-pick flowers, tomatoes, beans and other crops which we have a surplus of.

We average 10-12 pounds of produce each week over the course of the season (less in spring, more in summer and fall) and may have as few as 5 or 6 items the first week or two to as many as 17 items at the end of the season. It is a good amount of produce. Our shares are enough for a family of 4 who eat a mixed diet. If you find yourself becoming overwhelmed, refer to the seasonal eating section of our web page. We do not offer half shares. If you need to split a share, contact our message board.

A share for 2008 is $450 ($21 and change per week). The extended share option is $575 (main season share plus 80-100 lbs. of storage vegetables) You can sign up from page 2 of the brochure.

In general, this is when these items are in the box, although there is some variability.
